Elixir Kombucha started out of necessity. After being gifted a SCOBY (symbiotic colony of bacteria and yeast), three best friends (Corey, Danielle, & Ryan) began brewing “booch” for a couple different family members who were struggling with various health issues ranging from ulcerative colitis to Sjogren’s disease. We soon after learned that our kombucha, historically referred to as “The Immortal Health Elixir,” helped relieve symptoms in our loved ones. Together, we began experimenting with flavors, honing our craft, and started whipping up some of the tastiest kombucha this side of the Ohio! Years later, and still brewing, it was time to share this delicious drink not only with our family and friends, but with our city and beyond. Filled with passion and a tasty beverage, Elixir Kombucha was born in the wonderfully weird city of Louisville, Kentucky.
Our “Louisville Cultured” kombucha, is “raw, local, & weird.” Our product is made with a live culture, and is packed with nutrients including probiotics, digestive enzymes and antioxidants. Elixir Kombucha currently has 4 deliciously refreshing flavors (Lavender Lemonade, Watermelon Jalapeno, Blueberry Pomegranate, & Pineapple Ginger) as well as seasonal rotations. We brew in small batches to ensure the best quality booch. Elixir Kombucha is brewed, handcrafted and bottled in Louisville, Kentucky and is a Kentucky Proud beverage.
